Funny quote of the day

On the way to work today it was pretty foggy out. Madelyn mentioned this to me. We have been working on sounding out 3 and 4 letter words so I asked her how she thought you would spell the word, FOG. She said to me that she didn’t want to spell anything. I asked why not – of course once you learn to spell you can read! She said she didn’t want to spell or read. She then muttered, “The fog takes away all of your feelings and makes you not want to do nuffin.” It’s a little deep from a 4 year old. I interpreted it as the sun is not shining therefore I cannot get happy or inspired to learn or even exist. She is so DRAMATIC!

Things are progressing nicely at the Lockwood household. School starts back for me on Saturday and we are still going to the gym and eating our new healthy way. We have both made great strides, of which I will not post on here because I want it to be a surprise. We are both actually thinking of joining some sort of military guard or reserve when we reach our ideal weight, but we are not sure.
